Morning Routine✨🌸
Let’s Start our day together!
Don’t mind the mess… my husband and I are moving so there’s chaos everywhere haha.
I have to leave by 7:15 so I try to wake up at 5:15 to 5:30 to do my three things in my morning routine.
1. Something Lovely
2. Something Active
3. Something Helpful
A lot more helpful things needed to happen because my husband and I got in from a trip late yesterday, so I decided to pour into more of my home and less into my active routine today. Each day is different, but I try to hit on those three categories everyday.
I discovered that having a step by step routine was actually worse for my mental health than better for it, so giving myself more freedom by having very vague routine steps has been a game changer for me personally.

Starting your day right can set the tone for everything that follows. Many people find that incorporating structured yet flexible components into their morning routine can lead to an improved mindset. Embrace the idea of 'Something Lovely,' such as enjoying a moment of peace with your favorite beverage, to elevate your mood. Adding 'Something Active' like a quick workout or stretching can boost your energy and enhance your focus. And finally, include 'Something Helpful' - this could be tidying your space or planning your day, which can help you feel more organized and less chaotic. Research suggests that chaos and clutter can affect our mental well-being, so find ways to create a serene environment, even if you’re in the middle of moving. Engage in mindful activities — they don't have to be time-consuming to be impactful. Remember, it’s about balance and what works for you. Explore different practices and adapt them to suit your evolving lifestyle, whether you’re a morning person or still adjusting to the 5 AM routine. Ultimately, listen to your needs; flexibility can significantly improve your morning experience.
