How to potty train in 3 Days
👋Hi parents! I just wanted to share a few tips and tricks to potty train your child in just 3️⃣ days! Make sure you are not busy for these 3 days because this takes some serious 🫡DEDICATION. Your child will have some accidents and thats okay. No need to get 😡mad because they are learning and sometimes learning 🧠takes quite a few tries. Try some of these methods out. Remember that not all kids are the same so if one method does not work for your child, then try another. If you decide to start a method and end up not completing it, 🔄start over. Even if you think your child has the hang of it, make sure to complete one of these methods over the course of three days.
🍭Reward system: Rewarding a child for something good that they do, builds confidence. Plus who doesn’t love a reward for their accomplishments. Once your child realizes that they will get a prize each time they use the potty, it encourages them to want to keep doing it. Once they have the hang of it rewards are not necessary but always cheer your baby on!
🚽Realistic Toilet: From personal experience, when you get the fancy toilets like bluey or the race car potty, a lot of kids wont see it as a potty. Some kids will but it’s best to just stay away from those fancy potties.
⏰Every hour method: Set an alarm every hour and tell your child to sit on the toilet until they use it. You may want to bring a device to play a potty song or read a potty book to help.
🩲Naked Method: 🆗🆗🆗 i know this is a strange method but try it! Some kids this will be a fail but some will succeed. Let your child walk around completely naked. No shirt, no pants, and no underwear/pull-up. This will give your child the sensation of being wet immediately and recognize body signals to use the toilet.
🎶Potty Training Material: Find a good book, show, and/or song to encourage them to potty. There are lots of shows and songs on YouTube to help. Listen and read this content daily for multiple times a day. It’s even better to find your child’s favorite character using the potty.
🐵Participate: Children are sponges. They watch what you do and do it too. Sit on the toilet with your child. Whenever you go to the bathroom, take them with you and let them use their toilet as well. Even if you don’t have to use the bathroom, if it’s time for them to go, sit on the toilet as well.
😁Affirmations: This is not a method but an encouraging tip. Tell your child to believe in themselves when potty training.
🥳Celebrate: ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS, congratulate your child when they go to the potty. This gives them confidence and makes them want more praise for using the potty.
Let me know how your potty training journey goes with these methods and tips! 😝
