Places I’ve visited in: Las Vegas 🎲

I was only in Vegas a few days and made it to these places and many more!

These are a few of my top favorites. ♥️

This post will be for those who have to keep moving! Always on the lookout for an adventure! For those who want experiences filled with color! Those who love tattoos, shopping, food, aquariums, fish, the desert, hiking, nature, history, date nights, immersive experiences, plants, games and vacation!

There aren’t many casinos in this post but I thinks it’s important to make a point to walk through as many as the big casinos as possible. Each one has a different theme with different amenities!

As someone from Ohio I wasn’t ready for that dry heat. If you’re planning a visit pack accordingly! Nevada

... Read moreOkay, so you've seen my initial Las Vegas highlights, but let me tell you, there's even more to dive into if you're planning your own adventure! One thing that absolutely blew me away were those incredible sky ceilings — you know, the ones that make you feel like you're strolling outdoors under a perfect sky, even when you're inside a shopping mall? Both The Venetian's Grand Canal Shoppes and The Forum Shops at Caesar's Palace master this illusion. At The Venetian, walking along the indoor canal with the gondolas gliding by, under that beautifully painted ceiling, truly transports you. It’s not just a ceiling; it’s an entire theatrical experience! The light shifts subtly, mimicking dawn to dusk, making it feel incredibly real. My tip? Take your time, grab a coffee, and just soak in the atmosphere. And yes, definitely consider a gondola ride! Whether you choose the indoor serenade or the outdoor cruise, it’s such a quintessential Vegas moment, feeling like you're in Venice without the transatlantic flight. Then there's the Forum Shops sky ceiling, which has a slightly different, more classical feel. It's grander, with Roman statues and fountains, making you feel like you're in an ancient Roman piazza. Both are fantastic for escaping the desert heat and enjoying some world-class shopping or just people-watching. If you’re looking for unique, interactive fun away from the traditional casinos, you absolutely HAVE to check out Play Playground Las Vegas. This place is a neon-lit dream! It's designed for adults, and it's basically a giant, super cool playground with interactive games and photo ops that are out of this world. Think team challenges, quirky art installations, and a bar to keep the good times rolling. It’s perfect for a unique date night or a fun outing with friends – definitely not your typical Vegas experience but so worth it for those who love to move and play. And for something a bit more permanent, like my little dragonfly piece, exploring the local tattoo scene was a spur-of-the-moment decision I don't regret! Places like Koolsville Tattoo are known for their friendly artists and vibrant work. It's a fun way to bring a piece of your Vegas adventure home with you, and there's a real buzzing energy in these shops. Just be sure to do your research beforehand, but if you're feeling spontaneous, it's a unique memory to make. Speaking of getting away from the Strip, a trip out to the Lake Mead Overlook near Boulder City is a must. The views are absolutely breathtaking, a stark contrast to the city lights. It’s so peaceful and grand, offering panoramic vistas of the lake and surrounding mountains. It’s also incredibly close to the Hoover Dam, making it a perfect double-feature for a half-day trip. You get a taste of nature and some impressive engineering history all in one go! While Vegas is famous for its nightlife, many of these spots offer something for everyone. For those wondering what to do in Las Vegas that doesn't involve gambling, places like the beautiful Bellagio Conservatory, the fascinating Shark Reef Aquarium, or the mind-bending Omega Mart are fantastic options. They provide immersive, visual, and often educational experiences that truly highlight the diverse entertainment Vegas has to offer, proving it's a destination for all kinds of travelers seeking unique adventures and memorable sights!
