Things I’ve made this month

I’ve made a bunch of cute new stuff to add to my shop for the holidays. I recently learned how to bead embroider so I made a few cute mini pictures. I also made some new earrings, bracelets and keychains! #lemon8christmas #lemon8contest

Bead embroidery, in particular, has gained popularity for adding intricate texture and vibrant detail to small projects. If you’re new to bead embroidery like me, start with mini pictures or simple shapes—these can become stunning statement pieces for your shop. Besides embroidery, handmade jewelry such as earrings and bracelets continue to be top favorites during the gift-giving season. Using a mix of materials like beads, charms, and metals allows you to create pieces that cater to diverse tastes—from elegant and understated to bold and colorful. Our church just did a fundraiser for the ministries we support and everybody had their homemade merchandise for sale. One woman paints, and she’s really good. She does Christmas cards magnets and these little tiny portraits that are on an easel. She also does clay. She had a really cute clay lamb Christmas tree ornament. That’s something I would love to learn how to do, play with clay.
