Toddle Time
My littlest and I get 4 hours a day while the other two are at school. So I try to utilize this time for learning and one on one time. This morning we read one of our Imagination station Books, then we played with the I spy bear and squeezed in 5-10 minutes of ABC Mouse. Then we cuddled up and had a snack while watching the new bedtime playlist on Netflix! Now it’s his nap time and time for this mama to fold some laundry! 🧺 #readingwithtoddlers #whatmytoddlerisreading #toddlerplaytime #toddlerbookrecommendation #toddlerplayideas #toddlermom #fyp #sahm #toddlerlearning
Creating a nurturing environment for toddlers involves balancing learning and play. This article highlights strategies you can implement during daily activities, such as incorporating educational books and interactive games like the I Spy bear, which encourage critical thinking while having fun. Spending quality reading time with books designed for younger audiences reinforces language skills and sparks imagination. Programs like ABC Mouse can help in introducing foundational learning concepts through enjoyable digital formats. Additionally, relaxed moments, such as cuddling and watching age-appropriate shows, can reinforce emotional bonding and relaxation as your toddler processes the day’s learning. Consider regularly changing the activities to maintain enthusiasm and cater to your child's evolving interests. Taking advantage of resources like online communities for sharing toddler book recommendations can also enrich your child's reading list. Balance these activities with nurturing your own needs by planning 'me-time' when your toddler naps. By creating a supportive environment, you’re shaping your toddler’s love for learning that lasts a lifetime.
