Kitty gets his first big tree

My kitty Tiger just turned 6 months last weekend and he’s definitely starting to get more curious. For one he’s started jumping on the counters.

We Ofcourse hate this, because he loves to knock stuff off, and destroy the paper towels 😭.

So we thought maybe it’s time to get him a bigger tree so he can satisfy his urge to climb things.

This is him with the tree yesterday. He’s still a little apprehensive but I think he likes it.

Unfortunately he still jumps on the counter. We tried wiping the counters with bleach, vinegar, getting aluminum. Nothing works!

( he’s half orange cat btw)

Does anyone have any tips for keeping your orange cats OFF of the counter ( that wouldn’t involve spending an arm and a leg)?
