Shortcuts in control center

I have absolutely been loving using Shortcuts to quickly access my most used apps so that way I don’t have to go look for them and one thing that I have missed about the android phones is quickly accessing your settings from the control center, so I even created one for my settings.

I even have some shortcuts to do different things for my Kindle app change my screen to grayscale mode and even have my phone read any book to me so that way I can follow along in the Kindle app. This is one my IPhone 14 Pro Max and I will be getting my new iPhone 16 Pro Max in the mail so when I receive that, I will be adding all of this to that one as well.

Not only does it save time, but it also reduces frustration by bringing commonly used actions just a swipe away. For example, creating a shortcut to quickly toggle grayscale mode has helped me reduce eye strain during long reading sessions or late-night phone use. One particularly helpful tip I discovered is customizing shortcuts for apps like Kindle. With automated commands to read books aloud or jump directly to a specific bookmark, the Kindle app becomes much more user-friendly, especially when multitasking or needing rest for your eyes. Plus, having these accessible right from the Control Center means I never have to dig through menus. Another advantage is replicating some of the functionality I enjoyed on Android devices, such as instant access to key settings like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. By building my own shortcut for settings access, I feel I can manage my iPhone more efficiently without needing multiple taps. With the newer iPhone 16 Pro Max on the way, I'm excited to transfer these shortcuts and explore even more possibilities. Apple's continuous improvements on shortcut capabilities and Control Center customization enable users like me to truly personalize our devices in ways that fit our unique routines and preferences. If you're interested in starting your own shortcut setup, I recommend experimenting gradually. Begin with a few essentials—like opening your favorite apps or toggling display modes—and expand from there as you discover what fits your lifestyle best. The #controlcenterhacks and #iphoneshortcuts communities also offer fantastic ideas and support to inspire your creations.
