🎮 What are some interesting games in Gamescom 2025?

👾 Gamescom 2025 is the largest game show in the world held every year, where developers and labels gather to launch new games and showcase the latest technology in the game industry. As I followed this event, there are a lot of interesting games, and these are the nine games that I think are the most interesting. ✨

1.Hollow Knight: Silksong

A sequel to Hollow Knight from Team Cherry Studio that will take players into a new, more mysterious world. Players will be cast as Hornet, one of the characters from the first installment. Must explore a new world. Pharloom fights over 40 enemies and bosses, with the game line being Metroidvania. This game announced its latest release date of September 4, 2025.

2.LEGO® Batman™: Legacy of the Dark Knight

A LEGO Batman game from TT Games studio that features an open-world Gotham City world, players can drive the Batmobile, battle villains and solve various mission puzzles. The game is also the newest installment in the LEGO series expected to be released in 2026.

3. Resident Evil: Requiem

A Survival Horror game from Capcom where players will be cast as FBI Agent Grace Ashcroft, who faces mysterious situations in hotels and comes across new Biohazards, and will be released on February 27, 2026.

4.Valor Mortis

A first-person Soulslike-themed game from One More Level studios, players are cast as dead soldiers who must battle demons in medieval Europe. The game itself has a high combat and challenge system. It is the studio's new IP expected to be released in 2026.

5. Swords and Legends

A fantasy Chinese RPG from Aurogon Shanghai Studio, players will explore the magic world, fight enemies, and develop characters through the Open World adventure system, with no release date yet announced.

6.Onimusha: Way of the Sword

An Action Samurai game from Capcom where players will be cast as Edo-era warriors fighting various demons, with an action hack-and-slash battle system and telling stories about spirits and curses. This game is a new installment of the Onimusha series expected to be released in 2026.

7.Black Myth: Zhong Kui

An Action RPG based on Chinese legends from the Game Science studio, the creators of the iconic Soulslike game Black Myth: Wukong, with in this game players being cast as Zhong Kui, a demon buster who must face various demons in a fantasy world, which has yet to be determined on a release date.

8.La Divina Commedia

An adventure game adaptation of Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy literature, players must travel through Hell, Chastity, and Heaven, with an unspecified release date.

9. Vampire: The Masquer® - Blood ™ 2

The sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines from The Chinese Room studio, players will be cast as Phyre, a vampire who awakens in the city of Seattle, facing the conflict and politics of urban vampires. The game is released on October 22, 2025.
