🍍Pink Pineapple?? #fyp
Have you tried a pink pineapple 🍍??
On my recent store run to /Strack & Van Til I found these in the fruit section and they were $10/each!!👀
They were pricey but I was told they are rare due to them being pink on the inside, so I got it. ☺️
I took it home and cut it open and as I was told it was sure enough pink 🩷
When I ate a slice it did taste slightly different but in a good way. It was less citrus and more sweet but it still taste like pineapple just pink and more juicy.
I would say if I had the money I would literally buy this again, it was good!!
*Have you ever tried this before? Did you like it?*

During my exploration for unique fruits, I stumbled upon the Pink Glow pineapple, an intriguing variety grown in Costa Rica and often dubbed the "Jewel of the Jungle." Unlike the traditional pineapple with its bright yellow flesh, this variety is distinguished by its vibrant pink interior, which not only offers a visual surprise but also a distinct taste. The Pink Glow pineapple surprised me with its sweetness and juiciness, making it a refreshing treat that felt less tart than the common pineapple. Its rarity, as mentioned by the store staff, is due to the specialized cultivation process requiring optimal conditions, which can explain the higher price point (around $10 each). From personal experience, the fruit's delicate sweetness pairs wonderfully with summer salads, tropical smoothies, or simply as a fresh snack. When preparing it, I found the pink flesh to be just as firm as regular pineapples but with a slightly more tender bite, adding to the overall pleasant mouthfeel. For those curious about trying something new, sourcing Pink Glow pineapples from select specialty stores or online exotic fruit retailers is worth the effort. Be sure to handle it like regular pineapple—cut off the top and bottom, slice off the skin, then cut into wedges or cubes. As a tropical fruit enthusiast, I appreciate how introducing rare varieties like the Pink Glow pineapple adds diversity to the fruit selection and sparks curiosity about botanical origins and flavors. Have you tried this exotic pink pineapple? Sharing your impressions can help others decide to explore this unique fruit as well!
