When God closes a door

... Read moreI remember a time when I was absolutely convinced I was on the right path. I poured my heart into a specific goal, only for the door to slam shut in my face. It felt like a crushing blow, leaving me wondering, "Why, God?" I know how it feels when circumstances force you into a corner, making you feel stuck and struggling, almost as if you're inflicting more pain on yourself by insisting that your way is the right way. But through that experience, I learned a profound truth about God's plan. Often, what seems like a closed door isn't a denial, but a divine redirection. It's God making a way to move you forward, even when you wouldn't have moved yourself. Sometimes, the things we desperately cling to are actually distractions from His given purpose and assignment for our lives. We place our own agenda onto God's, and in doing so, we might miss the beautiful, unexpected path He has laid out for us. That's where the powerful truth comes in: "God opens doors no man can shut." When one door closes, it's not the end; it's an invitation to trust that something greater is just around the corner. It's His way of moving us from a path that wasn't truly ours, back onto our path of destiny. I've realized that the enemy often works his hardest when he knows you're about to turn a corner, trying to keep you stuck in the struggle. But God's closed doors are His protective hand, guiding you away from potential harm or simply preparing you for something far more magnificent. So, if you're facing a closed door right now, take a deep breath. Instead of viewing it as a setback, try to see it as a divine intervention. Thank God for that closed door, because it means He's clearing the way for an opportunity that aligns perfectly with His purpose for you. It’s about having faith that He knows best and that His plan is always for your ultimate good. Embrace the unknown, step out in faith, and watch as He opens a door you never even knew existed, leading you to a future far beyond what you could have imagined.
