Sol De Janeiro Collection 🌺
Hey y’all! Here is my Sol De Janeiro Perfume mist collection! I’m going to provide a description, my personal review of each scent, and rate them! Please note that these are just my opinion, and everyone likes different things!
Cheirosa 39 🥥: Notes of Coconut Cream, Tropical Orchid, and Toasted Praline. To me, this smells like a warm yet fresh sweet creamy coconut. When I heard they were bringing this back, I bought 3 bottles as soon as I could! It smells delicious, and I’m so happy it’s back! There is nothing I would improve about this scent, it’s my fragrance dream! Fresh/ Beachy meets Warm Gourmand. 10/10!
Beijos De Sol 🍑: Notes of Peach Skin, Coconut Milk, Frangipani Petals, and White Musk. This scent is a sweet fruity floral with a hint of coconut. Many kept saying this is similar to Cheirosa 39, but I have to disagree. It has more of a clean feel to it instead of warm gourmand. This one wasn’t my favorite from the Summer 2024 release, but it was worth the buy! 7/10.
Carioca Crush 🍐: Notes of Juicy Pear, Tropical Lychee, Pink Violet, and White Cedarwood. This scent is such a fresh fruity scent that I love. As a gourmand girly, I was scared I wouldn’t like this one, but I fell in love! This one was my favorite from the Summer 2024 release, and I even bought a backup bottle! This scent feels so refreshing. 10/10!
Summer E Amor 🍊: Notes of Tangerine, Creamy Almond, Orange Flower, and Vanilla Amber. This scent has a nutty fruity vibe that I was decently impressed with. It’s good for any occasion, and lasts a good while! 7/10
Dança Mística 🥂: Notes of Purple Fig, Champagne Accord, Sandalwood, and Amber Drops. This scent is definitely a spicy bubbly scent with a hint of floral. Now, I really hate to say this but Dança Mística is the first scent from Sol De Janeiro that I’ve ever disliked. It almost reminds me of black pepper mixed with flower petals and fruit juice. I’ve never used it, and probably never will. 1/10
Flor Mística 🌸: Notes of Coconut Water, Orange Blossom, Lush Palm Leaf, and Golden Musk. This mist has a sweet, candied floral scent. I fell in love with this one! I’m not a big floral person, but the scent has just enough sweetness to balance it out to my liking. The scent feels clean, fresh, sweet, and delicate. This one is my favorite from the Summer 2025 release. 9/10!
Água Mística 🌊: Notes of Neroli Water, Tangerine, White Cedarwood, and Salty Skin Accord. This list has a fresh, clean, fruity yet salty scent. With it being a “water” scent, it has a more masculine vibe to it, yet the fruit keeps it slightly feminine. I ended up liking this one more than I thought I would! 6.5/10.
Cheirosa 62 ☀️: Notes of Pistachio, Salted Caramel, and Vanilla. This fragrance is a warm, gourmand, sweet, candied scent with a very slight hint of salt. This one is a classic and an award winning best selling scent! This was my first Sol de Janeiro and will forever be a favorite of mine! This one is so captivating and addicting, and delicious! I need an ice cream or a sweet treat that tastes like this scent does! 10/10!
Cheirosa 48 (Bikini Season) 👙: Notes of Guava Nectar, Sunlit Orchid, and Pink Musk. This fragrance is a fresh, sweet, fruity scent. I was very impressed by this scent! I fell in love with it as soon as I bought it and had to have more! It’s a go to for any occasion, and I’ve gotten many compliments on this scent! 10/10!
Cheirosa 59 🪻: Notes of Vanilla Orchid, Sugared Violet, and Sheer Sandalwood. This scent is calming, fresh and woody. It’s marketed as uplifting, but I find this scent more relaxing than anything else. I like the fragrance of the matching body butter much more than I like the mist. I don’t pick up on the floral/ sugary aspect of this scent as much as I do the wood. I don’t wear this one very often, but it’s nice when you’re staying in for a day and relaxing. 5/10
Cheirosa 40 🥭: Notes of Black Amber Plum, Jasmine Blooms, and Vanilla woods. This mist is a delicate mix of fruity and sweet warm gourmand. This one goes well with everything, and lasts a surprisingly long time! It smells like fruit and vanilla, so delicious! 8.5/10!
Cheirosa 71 🥮: Notes of Caramelized Vanilla, Toasted Macadamia Nut, and Tonka Bean. This one is a warm, cozy, sweet/salty gourmand fragrance. Many people either love or hate this one with no in between. To me, this scent smells like a cozy retreat to a wooden cabin in the mountains during cold winter months. It smells like cuddling up under a blanket next to the fireplace sipping on a warm caramel latte. I personally love this scent and the vibe it brings with it! 9.5/10
Cheirosa 87 (Rio Radiance/ Tan Lines) 🏝️: Notes of Solar Tuberose, Leite De Coco, and Warm Sand. This one has a warm, bright, beachy, fresh vibe. It literally smells like you’re laying in the sand with fresh sunscreen on with a hint of floral coconut. It’s perfect for summer and the beach! I don’t even use this scent any other time unless I’m going swimming in a bikini on a sunny day in the summer! 8/10
Cheirosa 76 (After Hours) 🪩: Notes of Midnight Jasmine, Black Currant, and Amber Woods. This one is an upbeat, fruity, floral, and even slightly spicy scent. This one smells like a girls night out or going clubbing. It’s a perfect party scent! Very bold and captivating. I love this one! 8/10
It's so interesting how different scents can evoke such strong, varied reactions! Talking about Dança Mística, I know I gave it a low rating in my initial review, and it really wasn't for me. But I've been thinking about why some people absolutely adore it, and I wanted to share some thoughts for those of you who might be curious or even own it and want to make it work! Dança Mística's notes of purple fig, champagne accord, sandalwood, and amber drops create a truly unique profile. While I personally found it a bit too spicy and not to my taste, this combination can be incredibly captivating for others. If you're someone who loves bold, unconventional fragrances, or if you're drawn to scents with a mysterious, 'night out' vibe, Dança Mística might actually be your perfect match. The champagne accord gives it that effervescent, celebratory feel, while the fig and sandalwood add a sophisticated depth that's far from your typical sweet gourmand. If you've picked it up and are struggling to connect with it like I did, don't give up just yet! Sometimes, a scent needs the right occasion or even a layering partner. Trying it on a cooler evening might bring out different facets than a warm day. You could also experiment with layering it over a simple, unscented body lotion or even a light vanilla-based one. This can soften the sharper edges and allow the warmer, fruitier notes to shine through more gently. It's all about finding that personal connection with a fragrance! And speaking of getting the most out of your body mists, whether it's a Sol de Janeiro favorite or another scent in your collection, I've picked up a few tricks over time. For maximum longevity, always apply your mist to moisturized skin. A matching scented lotion from Sol de Janeiro is perfect, but even an unscented one works wonders by creating a base for the fragrance to cling to. I love spraying my mists on my pulse points—wrists, neck, and behind the knees—because the warmth of these areas helps diffuse the scent throughout the day. A little spritz on your hair or clothes can also extend the wear, just be mindful of delicate fabrics! Choosing the right body mist isn't just about what smells good in the bottle; it's also about what suits the occasion and the season. For summer, I gravitate towards fresh, fruity, or aquatic scents like Carioca Crush or Água Mística. They feel so refreshing! In colder months, I reach for warm, cozy gourmands like Cheirosa 71 or Cheirosa 62. Knowing your scent preferences—do you love florals, fruits, gourmands, or clean scents?—is a great starting point, but don't be afraid to experiment! My journey with Sol de Janeiro has taught me that sometimes the scents you least expect can become your new favorites.
