What I avoid as a CHRISTIAN WIFE ✨🤍

Here's my list y'all! ( ask me about any of them!)

What I Avoid:

🔸Romance novels

🔸Certain TV shows or movies: Bachelorette, Love Island, etc...

🔸 Seeking advice from a non-believer for my marriage

🔸 Gossiping about my husband's faults

🔸 Disrespecting my husband

🔸 Wearing inappropriate clothing to the gym

🔸 Have private communication with a male in person or through text (unless my husband knows)

🔸 withholding sex

🔸 Secular music

If some of the things on my list made you feel convicted, take it to God in prayer and He will guide you and strengthen you to remove things negatively impacting your marriage.

... Read moreAs a Christian wife, the importance of creating a nurturing and supportive environment for your marriage cannot be overstated. Many women seek guidance on what to embrace and what to avoid in their spiritual and relational journeys. Here are some key points to consider: 1. **Avoiding Negative Media**: Engaging with toxic media, like certain reality shows, can influence our perspectives and relationships. Consider replacing them with uplifting, faith-based content that encourages harmony in marriage. 2. **Respect in Communication**: It's crucial to maintain open and respectful communication with your spouse. Avoid gossiping about each other's faults; instead, cultivate a habit of discussing issues constructively and privately. 3. **Assessing External Advice**: While seeking counsel is important, it's vital to ensure that your sources align with your values. Including non-believers in sensitive discussions about your marriage can lead to conflicting advice that doesn’t honor your faith. 4. **Dressing Modestly**: Being mindful of how you dress, especially in public spaces like the gym, can reflect respect for yourself and your relationship. Think about attire that aligns with your values and represents who you are as a Christian. 5. **Setting Boundaries**: Establishing boundaries in friendships is critical. Having private communications with members of the opposite sex may not be appropriate without your spouse's awareness. Transparency solidifies trust in your relationship. These practices not only help in maintaining a strong, Christian marriage but also contribute to personal growth in faith. Embrace these changes prayerfully and allow God to work in your heart to foster a more fulfilling relationship.

This seems so repressive girly. I’m a Christian married woman and my husband doesn’t care what I wear or if I read/watch romance stories. God forbid you actually have high expectations of how to be treated🙄 Also you can ALWAYS say no to sex if you don’t want it.
