How I highlight my Bible.

It's like a warm hug from God's word when I need it most. 🩷 Pink - Love: This one is obvious! God's boundless love, how we are called to love others, and stories of compassion. It warms my heart every time I see it. 💜 Purple - Family. Marriage, Kids.: Specific guidance or promises related to my family, my marriage, or raising children. It helps me apply scripture directly to my most important relationships. 🩶 Gray - Healing: Verses about physical, emotional, or spiritual healing. It's a powerful reminder of God's restorative power and His desire for our wholeness. ♥️ Red - Bad People's Sin (mostly OT stuff): Often found in the Old Testament, these are examples of consequences of sin, helping me understand God's justice and the need for redemption. To get started, all you really need are a few good colorful pens and highlighters. I love using gel highlighters because they don't bleed through thin Bible pages, allowing me to fully mark up my open Bible without worry. Having a range of colorful pens allows you to add handwritten notes around your highlights, diving deeper into insights or cross-references.
