DIY School Book Trackers for Kids
My son always needed a way to keep track of his school reading, so I made these cute and simple book trackers on Canva! Theyāve been a game changer for keeping him motivated and organized. I thought Iād share in case any other parents want to try it too!
DIY Book Tracker for Kids (Made in Canva)
Step 1 ā Open Canva
⢠Search āUS Letterā or āA4 Documentā to get a blank page in the right size for printing.
Step 2 ā Create the grid
⢠Use the āTableā element and choose enough rows and columns for your book count (I did 10 columns across and 9 rows down).
⢠Adjust the tableās border thickness to make it clean and visible.
Step 3 ā Add book numbers
⢠In each square, type ā1 Book,ā ā2 Books,ā and so on until you reach your goal number (mine was 80).
⢠Center the text in each box for neatness.
Step 4 ā Add the rewards section
⢠Merge a few top boxes to make space for āReward Options.ā
⢠List fun incentives for your child like $5 V-Bucks, $10 Roblox money, or an Amazon item with a spending limit.
Step 5 ā Decorate
⢠Go to āElementsā and search for the them and clipart you want.
Step 6 ā Personalize
⢠Change the title to your childās name (or anything you want!)
Step 7 ā Print & Use
⢠Print on cardstock or regular paper.
⢠Circle milestones (like every 20 books) for a visual reward marker.
