Hey everyone! Seeing my Cyberpunk fanart get some love really makes my day. I wanted to capture that sense of wonder and perhaps a touch of longing in the characters' postures. One of my biggest challenges was getting the anime-style characters to feel integrated into the scene. I often start by sketching out their poses and expressions separately, then digitally overlaying them onto my background concept to see how they interact. It's all about making sure they blend seamlessly into the mood and lighting. For this painting, I wanted them to seem contemplative, looking up at Earth, perhaps dreaming of a different life or reflecting on their journey. I spent a lot of time refining their silhouettes against the dramatic backdrop. Choosing colors for a Cyberpunk theme is always exciting. While neon accents are a must, I also love adding subtle, muted tones to give it that gritty, lived-in feel. For the purple and yellow characters, I experimented with different shades to ensure they stood out against the dark sky but still felt like part of the futuristic world.
