This started as an accident in bleach
No sketch no map just stains spreading like constellations
For three almost four days I sat with the fabric tracing the burns with acrylic markers
letting the shapes tell me what they wanted to become
Faces appeared where I didn’t expect them
creatures crawled out of the dye
colors collided like a map of another world

I wasn’t just decorating a pair of pants
I am teaching myself how to draw
learning to follow the mark instead of forcing it and what that being said these are 1 of 1’s I probably can’t make these ever again I’ll be releasing these soon or I’ll be placing them in a gallery for display🤟🏾
