... Read moreAs a girl mom and a veteran, managing daily stress while prioritizing mental health has been both challenging and rewarding. I’ve found that taking intentional brain breaks throughout the day helps me avoid burnout and maintain focus. Instead of letting fatigue take over and crashing out, pausing for a few minutes to engage in light activities such as deep breathing, stretching, or simply stepping outside for fresh air can refresh the mind and body. This approach is especially important for parents juggling multiple responsibilities and veterans who might face unique stressors from their service and home life transitions. Brain breaks provide an opportunity to reset cognitive resources, improve mood, and enhance productivity. I encourage everyone to listen to their body’s signals and incorporate these breaks into their routines to support mental health. Additionally, using techniques like mindfulness or journaling during these breaks can deepen the benefits, helping to process emotions and reduce anxiety. Over time, these small, consistent actions create a positive impact, fostering resilience and a healthier mindset. Embracing brain breaks as a part of self-care has truly transformed my ability to navigate busy days while nurturing my mental well-being.

The ways Jesus cared for his Mental Health:🤎
I have been broken recently. I have gave my all to someone who was not God and it left me empty. I was told to get therapy and to “fix what had been done to me.” Which I do think is important; however, I find my heart to feel more than I have in many years when I move the way Jesus would. So, i
