Day 19 out of 75 Soft Challenge

I am on day 19. It was a good day. I woke up to some good messages and honestly even though I haven’t fixed my main issue going on it makes me happy when I get to wake up to a good inspiring message. I went to the gym worked out and definitely did a work out because I did not notice that I accidentally upped my speed and I was sweating. Went to have breakfast with my sister and we were having a good sisterly bond moment. Went to 5 below bought myself a keyboard so I can do my posts better. I also bought a Halloween keychain but saw they had Pennywise socks so might go back. #75softchallenge #75softjourney #gymfit #lemon8diarychallenge

I've been getting so many questions about how I stay on track, especially when life throws unexpected curveballs. So, I wanted to share some of my personal insights and tips that have really helped me keep my momentum going. First off, let's talk about those daily workouts. Sometimes, getting to the gym feels like a monumental task, but once I'm there, I never regret it. My go-to strategy? Focus on how good I'll feel *afterwards*. And honestly, having comfortable gear makes a huge difference. I love picking out my favorite t-shirt and a comfy pair of shorts – it’s a small thing, but it gets me in the right mindset. Don't underestimate the power of good athletic shoes; they can prevent discomfort and injury, making your gym workout much more effective. I even have a lucky pair of orange socks that always seem to put a spring in my step! Experiment with different types of exercise – whether it’s lifting, cardio, or a fun dance class – find what you truly enjoy, and it won't feel like a chore. Beyond the physical, mental resilience is key. There are days when motivation dips, and that’s totally normal. What helps me is surrounding myself with positivity. Whether it's inspirational messages from friends, a quick call with my sister, or even just listening to an uplifting podcast, these small boosts can reframe your entire day. It’s not about being perfect every single day, but about consistently showing up for yourself. I've learned to celebrate the small victories – hitting a new personal record at the gym, sticking to my meal plan, or even just waking up with a positive outlook. Remember, progress isn't linear, and a bad day doesn’t equal a failed challenge. Just reset and recommit the next morning. Another huge aspect of the 75 Soft Challenge is integrating it into your existing life. It's not about putting your life on hold for 75 days; it's about making healthy habits a part of your everyday. This means planning ahead for meals, scheduling workouts like any other important appointment, and finding ways to enjoy social activities that align with your goals. For instance, instead of just saying no to social gatherings, I find ways to participate – maybe it’s a walk with a friend instead of coffee, or choosing a healthier option when eating out. It’s all about balance and conscious choices. And don't forget the hydration! Carrying a water bottle everywhere has become second nature, and it truly makes a difference in energy levels and overall well-being. It's a simple rule, but often overlooked in busy days. Lastly, remember why you started. My 'why' keeps me grounded, especially on tougher days. This challenge is more than just physical transformation; it’s about building discipline, mental toughness, and a healthier lifestyle that lasts. Every day is a new opportunity to learn and grow. Keep going, you’ve got this! And remember, small treats, like discovering a fun Halloween keychain or planning a return trip for those unique socks, can be little sparks of joy along the way without derailing your main goals.
