The Subway Cave in Sedona, Arizona is one of those magical places that feels straight out of a dream ✨
We started our journey on the Boynton Canyon Trail, completely unaware of the breathtaking scene that awaited us. The trail winds through towering red rock formations, juniper trees and an energy vortex (if you believe in that kind of thing 😉) But the real challenge? Finding the secret turnoff to the cave!
A little effort, a short scramble, and then…WOW.
This was one of those moments that reminded me why I love exploring. It’s not just about the places- it’s about the feeling of discovering something incredible, of pushing yourself a little further, and of sharing these experiences with all of you!💕

📍Trailhead: Boynton Canyon Trail
🥾 Distance: 6.1 miles round trip (takes 3-4hours)
🧗♂️ There is a short, steep scramble to the cave but totally doable
🌅 Best time to go would be morning for fewer crowds and good lighting
💕 Look for the Alligator Juniper Tree (after 3 miles approximately)whose bark looks like the skin of an alligator. Take a right from there and you can see Subway cave entrance with 10-15mins.
