OMG, ghouls and monsters! I'm so excited to finally share my full Draculaura cosplay with you all! If you're a Monster High fan like me, you know how iconic her look is, and I've been dreaming of putting this outfit together for ages. It’s been such a fun journey transforming into my favorite vampire ghoul! First off, let's talk about the costume itself. Getting that perfect Draculaura costume vibe was all about nailing the signature black and pink aesthetic. For the hair, I found this amazing black and pink wig that perfectly captures her split-color style. It’s super soft and really completes the whole head-to-toe transformation. Then there’s the top – I went for a black and white ruffled top to get that classic blouse look, layering it with a cute pink corset. Finding the right corset was a bit of a hunt, but totally worth it for that authentic Monster High fashion feel. And for the bottom, I paired it with a white mini-skirt with pink ribbon details. I actually added the ribbon myself to make it extra special and true to Draculaura’s charm. It wasn't too hard to do a little Draculaura costume DIY to personalize some pieces! For anyone looking to create their own Draculaura inspired outfits or a full Draculaura cosplay, my biggest tip is to start with the core colors: black, pink, and white. You can often find pieces at thrift stores or online that just need a little tweak. For the ruffled top, if you can't find one, a plain black or white blouse can be easily customized by sewing on some lace trim or even using fabric glue for a quick fix. And for the pink corset, you might find a plain black one and paint it pink with fabric paint, or even use a thick pink ribbon to lace through a simple vest. Don't be afraid to get creative with fabric paint or ribbons to add those iconic details. These small modifications can really make a huge difference in achieving an authentic look without breaking the bank. And what's a Draculaura look without her signature maquillaje? I focused on a light base to get that ethereal ghoul complexion, a cute heart beauty mark under one eye, and of course, some subtle fangs! For the eyes, I used a mix of pink and purple eyeshadows to give them a pop, finishing with a winged liner and plenty of mascara. A bold pink lip really ties the whole vampire glam together.
