Being a new mom adds another layer to this. Every day is a juggle, right? Between diaper changes, sleepless nights, and trying to carve out time for my business, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. There are days when I look at other successful estheticians and think, "How do they do it all?" But then I remember my "why." My little one, our future, and the amazing connections I want to build with my clients through holistic wellness. This isn't just about providing services; it's about creating a space for healing and self-care that truly makes a difference. So, how am I tackling this for 2025? First, by acknowledging that small steps are still progress. It's not about grand gestures every day, but consistent, intentional effort. I’m focusing on what I can control: learning more, refining my skills, and connecting with my community. I'm also really embracing the idea of holistic esthetics, not just as a trend, but as a philosophy. That means scheduling in time for myself, even if it's just 15 minutes of quiet with my music (my ADHD brain needs that!). It’s about replenishing my own cup so I have something to pour into others. This year, I'm making "more self-care" a non-negotiable. The OCR also says, "But in 2025... We're doing all the things." This isn't just a catchy phrase for me; it's a mantra. It means pushing past the fear, ignoring that imposter syndrome voice, and actively pursuing those "more business" and "more meaningful moments" goals.
