Series I started and haven’t finished!

Ok ok don’t come at me for the chestnut springs series!!! I will finish it! I absolutely love Elsie silver so it’s definitely one I plan to finish soon!

I started the Boys of Tommen series and just had to take a break for my mental health!

Now I have no reason why I haven’t finished the veiled kingdom yet! I wasn’t a big fan of book 2! I felt like so much happened and nothing at all, but I did enjoy it. I’ll finish it soon.

Now the totally pucked series is definitely my fault 🤣 Maren Moore is my favorite author! I absolutely love her! I was just more excited for The Bad Boy Rule, so I just pushed it off.

... Read moreMany readers often find themselves starting multiple book series but struggling to finish them, which is a common experience in the reading community. For instance, the Chestnut Springs series by Elsie Silver has captivated many fans with its compelling characters and heartwarming plots, yet some temporarily pause their reading due to life’s demands. Elsie Silver is known for blending emotional depth with engaging storytelling, making her work popular among romance and contemporary fiction enthusiasts. The Boys of Tommen series, written by Chloe Walsh, is another example of a series that resonates deeply with readers who appreciate character-driven narratives and themes of personal growth and resilience. However, mental health breaks are important and valid reasons for stepping away from emotionally intense stories and taking time to recuperate before continuing. Similarly, the Veiled Kingdom series by Holly Renee offers a blend of fantasy and intrigue that keeps readers hooked despite occasional disappointments, such as when a particular book feels like the pace falters or the plot stalls. Despite these challenges, many readers find themselves returning to finish the series due to the world-building and unique story arc. The Totally Pucked series by Maren Moore is a fan favorite, often praised for its humor, relatable characters, and romantic entanglements. Maren Moore’s loyal readership eagerly awaits her releases, sometimes prioritizing new titles like The Bad Boy Rule over continuing previous series, which illustrates common reader preferences for fresh content. Understanding why readers pause their series is beneficial for authors and publishers aiming to maintain engagement. Common reasons include the need for mental health breaks, a preference for prioritizing other books or series, dissatisfaction with certain installments, or simply getting sidetracked by new releases. To stay motivated to finish a series, readers often benefit from setting small reading goals, engaging with fan communities, or revisiting favorite characters and cliffhangers to reignite their interest. If you find yourself with several unfinished series like these, you're not alone. Embracing your unique reading rhythm can turn waiting to finish books into part of the enjoyment, balancing excitement for new releases while appreciating the depth and richness of stories you've already started. Ultimately, the joy of reading lies not just in completion but in the journey each series offers.
