Ganymede – by Marc-Antoine Barrois
Ganymede is one of the most unique fragrances in my collection. It opens with saffron and Italian mandarin — slightly bright, lightly spiced, and immediately intriguing. The heart brings Chinese osmanthus, immortelle, and violet leaf, adding a soft floral warmth with a subtle green edge.
What stands out most is the base. Mineral notes, suede, akigalawood, cedar, musk, and patchouli create that airy metallic effect it’s known for. It feels smooth and almost weightless, yet structured. Clean but not fresh. Warm but not heavy.
It’s captivating and a little unexpected. Nothing really smells like this — and that’s exactly the point. It doesn’t try to follow trends. It simply exists in its own space.
Refined. Distinct. Unmatched.
