Thoughts in black bags 🫶

Today has been trauma dumping through poetry. They say “being in the closet” comes in many forms, not just sexuality. Mine has been my writing. I have volumes upon volumes of hand written first edition novels and messy poetry tucked in between bestselling authors, too scared to come out. There’s a vulnerability I haven’t been able to approach after 41 years in this rude world. Trauma buried my thoughts deep, kept things concealed. This time, I’ll try.
