I DID A THING!!!
So apparently when you mess around with your camera settings you can snap shots like these! I only found this out around the beginning of last week and through that week it was storming pretty bad so I tried my best to get nice bright pictures of the nighttime:)
Taking stunning nighttime photos can be a rewarding challenge for any photography enthusiast. The key lies in understanding and experimenting with your camera settings. Start by adjusting the ISO, which controls the camera's sensitivity to light. A higher ISO allows you to capture bright images in low-light conditions, but be cautious as it can introduce noise into your pictures. Furthermore, consider using a tripod to stabilize your camera, especially when shooting at slower shutter speeds. This will help eliminate blurriness caused by camera shake. It’s also beneficial to experiment with different aperture settings; a wider aperture (lower f-stop number) allows more light to enter the camera, perfect for those colorful nighttime shots. Another tip is to utilize manual focus as autofocus can struggle in low-light situations. Also, don't hesitate to play with long exposure techniques; you'll be amazed by the creative results, capturing the movement of lights, like stars or cityscapes. So grab your camera, test those settings, and enjoy the art of nighttime photography!
