A few weeks ago, I got scammed out of a hair appointment for a silk press — and honestly, I was banking on this service. As a girl with naturally curly hair, sometimes you just need that peace of mind that your hair will behave, especially when you’ve got an important event coming up.
My friend referred me to @Drybar , and it ended up being one of the best salon experiences I’ve ever had. From the shampoo bowl to the chair, every moment felt welcoming. Even when another stylists had to jump in to help (because yes, I have a lot of hair 😂), not once did I feel embarrassed or judged. Just kindness, care, and genuine effort.
I left not only loving my hair, but feeling seen and appreciated. 💛
And yes… I tipped 40%. Because when people pour that much heart into their work — it deserves to be recognized.
