So I started A Podcast

Honestly I’ve been thinking about starting a podcast for quite a while now, I’ve tried my hand out on YouTube with longer research and commentary videos because I love doing research and just learning new things but then I realized I’m a bit awkward on camera being on it kinda drains my personality away and honestly it’s probably because I’m an anxious person but I feel like on a podcast I can just be myself and talk. My podcast is on Spotify and called butterflies and lies on it I talk on true crime cases, conspiracies, drama, gossip and just a plethora of things that are interesting to me. I’m really glad I started it and my first episode is on the Yogurt Shop Murders that shocked Austin, Texas. I did quite a lot of research on the case and I hope I did it justice. I think we should all do the things we want even if it can be a little scary💓

... Read morePodcasts have become an incredibly popular medium for storytelling and sharing opinions on a variety of subjects. With platforms like Spotify making it easy to publish and promote your work, starting a podcast can be highly rewarding. In my show, Butterflies and Lies, I explore an array of intriguing topics, including true crime cases, conspiracies, and various aspects of drama. True crime, in particular, has gained immense popularity among listeners, with many being fascinated by not just the facts of the cases but the psychological aspects behind them. One of my first episodes discusses the infamous Yogurt Shop Murders, a harrowing crime that attracted widespread attention and left a lasting impact on the Austin community. Through thorough research, I aim to present a balanced perspective on the case while sharing behind-the-scenes insights. By engaging in captivating discussions and inviting listener participation, podcasts encourage a sense of community among creators and audiences alike. This interactive aspect makes podcasting a unique platform for connection. If you’re considering starting your own podcast, some tips include selecting a niche that truly resonates with you, maintaining authenticity while speaking, and being consistent with episode releases. Consider inviting guests to discuss their expertise and merge different topics for a more dynamic content format. Embrace this chance to share your voice, your ideas, and your passions with the world, and ultimately, connect with others who share similar interests.
