Weekly Cleaning 🧼🧽
I know how challenging maintaining a clean home can be, juggling work, family (whether that's human children or furry friends!), and everything else life throws our way. It's easy to feel overwhelmed, and sometimes the thought of cleaning feels monumental. That's why I wanted to share a perspective shift: it's not about achieving an impossibly pristine home every day, but about creating a space that feels comfortable and inviting.
Instead of focusing on a rigid, exhaustive cleaning schedule, consider a more manageable approach. Think of it as a series of small, consistent actions rather than one huge task. A quick tidy before bed, a 15-minute blitz on the kitchen counters each evening, or a more thorough weekend cleanup – these small efforts add up to a significant difference over time.
The key is consistency. Even five minutes spent straightening pillows, putting away clutter, or wiping down surfaces can make a noticeable impact on your home’s overall atmosphere. It’s about maintaining a sense of order, not striving for perfection.
I’d love to hear about your cleaning routines and any tips or tricks you've discovered! What strategies help you keep your home feeling clean and comfortable without feeling stressed? Let’s share our experiences and support each other.

I deep clean once a month. I have hardwood floor so waxing them take the lawn. I was taught when I was younger that when I entered a room, I was to leave it the way I found it and that has spread over into my adulthood. When the room is clean when I walk into it, no matter what I take in there with me my box my snacks, whateverwhen I leave that room, I take them back out with me. I fold whatever blankets or pillows I use and fluff them back up and put them back the way they were. Always leave the room the way you found it. I was great advisor for me.
