... Read moreOkay, fellow fragrance lovers, let's talk about the magic of Bath & Body Works dupes! Nothing beats the thrill of finding a high-end scent's twin for a fraction of the price, especially during those incredible $5.95 sales. My recent haul was all about stocking up on my go-to body care and, of course, sniffing out those infamous dupes that everyone raves about.
You guys know I'm always on the hunt for a good dupe, and B&BW rarely disappoints. In my latest haul, I managed to snag some amazing finds that are said to be spot-on matches for some luxury fragrances. For instance, I picked up a fine fragrance mist that's rumored to be a fantastic dupe for Lost Cherry. If you love that rich, boozy cherry almond scent but don't want to break the bank, keep an eye out for this one! It's perfectly warm and inviting. Another gem I found is a mist that beautifully mimics the sophisticated rose and lychee notes of Delina. It has that delicate yet powerful floral essence that just makes you feel fancy. And for those who adore the clean, musky, slightly sweet aroma of Glossier You, there's definitely a B&BW scent out there that captures that cozy, 'your skin but better' vibe. Finding these 'back up bottles' during a sale is truly a win!
Why the obsession with dupes? Beyond the obvious cost savings, it's about accessibility. Not everyone can splurge on luxury perfumes, but we all deserve to smell fantastic. B&BW allows us to explore a wide range of scent profiles and enjoy similar vibes from our favorite high-end fragrances in various forms – from body mists to body lotions and shower gels. Plus, these $5.95 sales make it even easier to experiment without commitment.
My secret to spotting B&BW dupes? First, always check online reviews and forums; the fragrance community is amazing at identifying these matches. Second, pay attention to the key scent notes. If a luxury perfume has prominent vanilla, sandalwood, and amber, look for B&BW products with similar descriptions. Don't be afraid to spray them on test strips and let them dry down – the initial spray can be misleading. And speaking of specific notes, I also grabbed some incredible vanilla-based products, which are always a safe bet for a comforting, sweet scent, and a fantastic cocoa and shea butter collection that's not only nourishing but smells divine and luxurious. These types of scents often have more affordable counterparts.
A pro-tip for making your B&BW dupes last longer: layer them! Start with a matching shower gel, then apply the body lotion or cream, and finish with the fine fragrance mist. This creates a scent bubble that lingers for hours. For example, I love pairing my cherry-scented mist with a rich, complementing body cream to enhance its depth. It’s a game-changer for longevity!
So next time you see a Bath & Body Works sale, go in with a mission! You might just discover your next favorite fragrance dupe without breaking the bank. What are some of your favorite B&BW dupes or scents you're hoping they'll dupe next? Share your finds below!
idk if it was just the one I got and was a bad bottle, but i CAN'T STAND vanilla romance. To me personally, it smells like a much more musky of victora secret bare vanilla. This is just my opinion on it, and wanted to know if this is how it's suppose to smell or if it's just me. (btw I bought it online and never smelled it before)
