You do not need me to replace your doctor.

You need help walking into that appointment with receipts.

Because finding a doctor who actually listens when you have PCOS can feel like a full-time job you never applied for.

You bring up your irregular cycles.

They say, “Just lose weight.”

You mention the spotting.

They say, “That can be normal.”

You say you’ve been trying to get pregnant.

They say, “Give it more time.”

Meanwhile, you’re at home staring at positive OPKs, late periods, brown discharge, confusing apps, “normal” labs, and negative pregnancy tests wondering,

“Okay, but what am I actually supposed to do with all of this?”

And this is where I need you to hear me clearly.

My job is not to take over for your doctor.

I’m not here to replace your OB, RE, midwife, or medical team.

I’m here to be your sidekick to pregnancy.

The person who helps you understand what your body is doing before you walk into the room.

The person who helps you connect the dots between your cycle, cervical mucus, OPKs, ovulation, labs, symptoms, stress, spotting, and the part of the process where things keep breaking down.

Because the problem is not always that you need a brand-new doctor.

Sometimes the problem is that you’re walking into appointments without the full story organized in a way that helps you get the care you actually need.

You deserve to know how to say:

“My OPK was positive, but I’m not sure I actually ovulated.”

“My period came back, but I’m still not getting pregnant.”

“My spotting starts before my period, and I want to know what that means for progesterone.”

“My cycles are shorter now, but I don’t know if my luteal phase is long enough.”

“My labs look normal, but my body still does not feel baby-ready.”

That is not you being difficult.

That is you being informed.

That is you advocating for the baby you want.

Because when you are trying to get pregnant with PCOS, another unclear appointment does not just cost you peace.

It can cost you another cycle.

And inside my world, that is what we are not doing.

We are not playing “doctor Google” at 1:00 a.m. trying to figure out if brown spotting, a positive OPK, and a late period mean your body is close or completely confused.

We are not letting you walk into appointments with a messy note in your phone and leave feeling more lost than when you came in.

We are not letting PCOS make you feel like your body is speaking a language nobody taught you how to read.

We map what your body is showing you so you can stop guessing, ask better questions, and build a plan that actually supports pregnancy.

Because the goal is not to collect more appointments while another cycle slips by.

The goal is to understand what your body is showing you now.

Your doctor has a role.

Your body has a story.

And baby, I can be the sidekick who helps you finally connect the two.

In my fertility training, I’ll show you why a positive OPK, a period, or “normal” labs may still not mean your cycle is baby-ready.

This helped me piece together patterns and advocate for targeted tests rather than accepting vague reassurance. In my experience, the journey becomes less daunting when you feel equipped to read your body’s "language" and thoughtfully approach your medical team. You don't need to replace your doctor but work with them more effectively. Empowerment through knowledge and preparation can turn confusing symptoms into actionable insights that advance your goal of becoming baby-ready despite PCOS challenges.
