I always bring a comfy outfit and shoes because you’ll want to feel relaxed during long hours of driving or exploring. Skincare essentials like a mild revolution blush or gentle makeup help keep you fresh without being heavy on your skin. Don’t underestimate the importance of a phone charger and a portable battery—these keep your devices powered for navigation, music, and emergency calls. A small sleep mask and stuffy nose remedies are lifesavers when resting or dealing with congestion during your trip. Also, having a book can be a great way to unwind during breaks. Packing these items helped me avoid common travel hassles and made my road trip memorable. Tailor your packing list based on the destination and duration, but these basics are a terrific starting point for any road trip adventure.
