Digital Camera Shopping!

Hey babes! Yesterday the hubby and I went camera shopping. Since I already have my vlogging camera, I decided on getting some digital cameras for the summer and to create albums for my girls.

My husband got the Sony E-10 which I 100% think is worth the investment.

I purchased the Vivitar Digital Camera, the Kodak PixPro FZ45(coming in the mail today.) and the HP Sprocket Photo Printer!

In my next post I’ll show you the results of everything except the Kodak since I’m will waiting for it. 🩷

You know how much I love capturing moments, and with summer just around the corner, I really wanted to upgrade my memory-making game – especially for creating those precious photo albums for my girls. It's not just about the latest tech; sometimes, the simplest digital cameras are the best for personal use! When trying to find the best digital camera for myself, I looked at a few different types. My husband's Sony ZV-E10 is a fantastic mirrorless camera, a real investment for vlogging and higher-quality video, but for those everyday, spontaneous shots, I wanted something more classic and affordable. That's why I opted for a Vivitar Digital Camera and the Kodak PixPro FZ45. These are truly good affordable digital cameras, fitting perfectly into the 'under £100' or 'under £300' category many of you search for. They're point-and-shoot gems, making them super easy to use for anyone, even if you're a beginner to digital photography. For anyone looking for digital camera recommendations, here's my mini buying guide for beginners: First, consider your budget. There are amazing options under £50, under £100, and under £300 that can give you that classic digital camera aesthetic without breaking the bank. Second, think about what you'll use it for. If it's casual snapshots, travel, or just to have fun with friends, a compact Vivitar or Kodak PixPro FZ45 type camera is ideal. If you're into vlogging or want more control, a Sony ZV-E10 might be more your speed. Don't worry too much about 'how do digital cameras work?' – most modern ones are incredibly intuitive. And speaking of memories, one of the highlights of my shopping trip was getting an HP Sprocket Photo Printer! It's such a game-changer because, let's be real, seeing our photos only on a screen isn't the same as holding them. This portable picture printer lets me instantly print out those shots from my new digital cameras and start filling those albums for my girls right away. It ties everything together – capturing the moment, and then having a physical keepsake. It's the perfect companion to any new digital camera, making it easy to share and relive those special times. I truly believe bringing back physical photos adds so much more value to our digital memories. Happy snapping, everyone!
