Having spent some memorable time in Grand Rapids, MI, I can confidently say this city offers more than just urban charm; its outdoor spaces are truly captivating. From peaceful riverside trails to vibrant city parks, Grand Rapids provides the perfect balance for those looking to unwind yet stay active. One of my favorite experiences was exploring the Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park, where nature and art seamlessly blend. The serene walking paths and seasonal blooms make it a refreshing escape, especially if you enjoy a quiet stroll surrounded by beauty. Additionally, the Grand River offers several kayaking and paddleboarding opportunities that are ideal for beginners and seasoned paddlers alike. The calm waters allow you to connect with nature right in the heart of the city. If you’re into hiking or biking, don’t miss the Kent Trails that stretch across several miles, offering scenic views and a good workout. The trails are well-maintained and provide access to different neighborhoods and local attractions. For a true adventure feel, checking out the nearby state parks like Yankee Springs State Park adds a rustic touch to your visit with various outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, and bird watching. Haven't posted in a while, but I'm back 🥰 Anyways, I went to the Lantern Festival with my family and boyfriend, and it was amazing. We went around 10 pm so it was dark enough to see all of the lights. The price was around $22 to $24 a person so it was pricy but definitely worth it. I
