Not only is tree planting deeply rooted in the land to create greenery for the outside world, but in a way, it is a metaphor for instilling virtue in the mind of the doer at the same time.
The image of a grinning monk in merit, complete with sweat and mud on his hands, while sustaining tiny seedlings in the bright sunshine, with a golden Buddha in the background, is a beautiful reflection of the heart of Buddhism - the intertwining of man, nature and nature.
1. The taproot of perseverance
To grow a tree so that it can sprawl requires effort and a determined mind, as a moral self-training:
Patience (diligence): Stand up against the sun, against the wind, dissolve pride into the ground to create the good.
Unity: The communal coalition, both the clergy and the laity behind it, helps each other with their hands.
Empathy (mindfulness): Codding the seedlings upright and firmly rooted.
2. Non-discriminatory shade
As the tree grows, it sprawls to provide shade and shade to all who pass by, not choosing who that person will be, just as the book gives peace and healing to all animals equally. Today's planting of the tree creates a great "alms" in the future, providing fresh air to the earth and creating a sappaya for the righteous.

จากประสบการณ์การปลูกต้นไม้ในชุมชนธรรมะ สิ่งที่ผมรู้สึกชัดเจนคือความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างธรรมชาติและจิตใจของเราอย่างลึกซึ้ง การปลูกต้นไม้แต่ละต้นเหมือนการใส่เมล็ดพันธุ์แห่งคุณธรรมในใจตนเอง ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความอดทนเมื่อเผชิญอุปสรรคเหมือนเมล็ดพันธุ์ที่ต้องสู้แสงแดดและฝน หรือความเอาใจใส่ต่อการเลี้ยงกล้าไม้ก็เหมือนการฝึกสติในทุกก้าวของชีวิต สิ่งที่ประทับใจมากคือบรรยากาศที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อต้นไม้โตขึ้นและแผ่กิ่งก้านสาขา เราไม่ได้ให้แค่ร่มเงาทางกาย แต่ยังให้ความร่มเย็นทางใจแก่ผู้คนที่ผ่านไปมา ความรู้สึกนี้ยิ่งใหญ่กว่าการปลูกแค่ต้นไม้แต่เป็นการให้ทานที่ยั่งยืนในทางธรรม นอกจากนี้ การปลูกต้นไม้ยังเสริมสร้างความสามัคคีในชุมชน เมื่อทุกคนร่วมแรงร่วมใจกัน เหงื่อที่หลั่งไหลรวมกลายเป็นความสุขที่แบ่งปันได้ไม่รู้จบ การได้เห็นต้นไม้เติบโตอย่างมั่นคงเหมือนเห็นความดีงามเติบโตในใจมนุษย์ด้วยกัน ผมจึงอยากเชิญทุกท่านให้ลองปลูกต้นไม้ ไม่ใช่แค่เพื่อโลกภายนอก แต่เพื่อเพิ่มพูนร่มเงาแห่งธรรมให้แก่ใจตนเองและสรรพสัตว์รอบตัว ต้นไม้แต่ละต้นที่ปลูก คือการให้ทั้งกายและใจ เป็นการสร้างสังคมที่อบอุ่นและน่าอยู่สำหรับทุกชีวิต ควบคู่กับความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างธรรมชาติ พระธรรม และการปฏิบัติธรรม เห็นได้ชัดว่าการปลูกต้นไม้เป็นการปลูกฝังทั้งกายและใจที่แผ่ขยายสู่สังคม ทำให้เราได้ทั้งความสุข ความสงบ และความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีขึ้นในทุกๆ ด้าน
