We turned ok right? #momlife #millenialmom #momjokes
As a millennial mom, I've found that making my kids carry water bottles everywhere is almost a rite of passage. It's funny because many of us grew up without such habits, often going through childhood without ever thinking twice about hydration on the go. Yet, now as parents, there's this strong urge to prepare our kids for everything, including staying hydrated at all times. I remember my own childhood where water bottles weren't a common accessory. We drank from the tap or from cups at home or school and somehow managed just fine. But today, with busy schedules, outdoor activities, and health awareness, carrying a water bottle has become essential, not just encouraged. It's amusing how parenting shifts our perspectives—what was once unnecessary becomes critical. Moreover, this little daily ritual opens up moments of bonding and laughter with my kids. While they grumble about carrying their water bottles, I can’t help but smile, knowing I’m passing on a practical habit that wasn’t emphasized in my generation. It adds a layer of shared experience to #momlife that many millennial moms will recognize and appreciate. After all, parenting is full of these little contradictions that ultimately bring us closer to our children and to others navigating similar challenges.
