today is national manicure day!
in celebration i removed my 3 week gel nails done in-salon & refreshed my nails.
i'm still getting practice doing them myself, but this is honestly the best i've done so far.
I use the Modelones nail light & polish.
I recently bought the red carpet base coat since i didn't love the modelones one.
A tip for those doing nails at home, especially gel nails- is to make sure your nails are completely clean, free of oils & buffed before application.
You'll also want to make sure that the polish and top coat stay on your nail and don't go on your skin.
I make sure to let them cure a little bit longer, and do thin coats to ensure it cures properly to stay for a long time!
