Taking T has undone and helped my dysphoria so much, the HRT (hormone replacement therapy) I was forced to undergo when I was 16, gave me so many permanent side effects my doctor put me on “low dose” estrogen to make me appear more feminine bc I wasn’t experiencing a “normal” puberty, but they never explained that I was intersex or even checked if I was. Insted they called it an “abnormal puberty” and told me I’d have social problems if i didn’t take the estrogen. Go figure this whole time I could have known and been comfortable being intersex and not hold my self to the standards of cis people, but u know USA doctors gotta make their money !
