Stop Asking

However, learning to trust yourself can be transformative. One helpful approach is to pause and reflect on your own opinions before turning to others for validation. Ask yourself: "What do I truly think about this?" or "What outcome do I want to achieve?" This mindset shift encourages you to rely more on your intuition and judgment. Additionally, setting boundaries with those around you about when and how you seek advice can foster independence. You don’t need to stop asking altogether but assess when it's truly necessary. Sometimes, the act of asking repeatedly can slow down your progress or make you doubt your own capabilities. Another method that worked well for me was journaling decisions and their outcomes. This helped me track my growth and realize that many choices made without external input turned out positively. Over time, this built my confidence to act more autonomously. Remember, stopping the habit of incessant asking doesn’t mean isolation—it means cultivating inner assurance and decision-making skills, which ultimately lead to more authentic and satisfying life experiences.
