I want to share part of my gaming side this is my world of Minecraft that I've been doing since 2014 and some paintings you see are constructions ive been doing during the years and make them as paintings. Building on Minecraft is like drawing too as well for me It really helps me and artists build any setting for a story example. Actually I'm gonna be making lore and stories First God. For example my recent post of Happy Mother's Day Webcomic is an example. I'm still organizing the stories Ocs though and setting.

... Read moreHey fellow builders! I know many of you dream of creating your own epic fantasy kingdoms in Minecraft, maybe even something as magical as Arendelle! While my Luinnaris Kingdom might be my own unique creation, I often get asked how I bring such large-scale worlds to life, especially after building since 2014. It's not just about placing blocks; it's about crafting a story and an experience.
First, inspiration is key. Think about what kind of kingdom you envision. Do you want a majestic "grand castle" overlooking a bay, like the port side of Luinnaris, or something nestled deep in a forest? Movies, books, and even other games can spark ideas. For example, if you're aiming for an Arendelle vibe, consider its unique blend of Scandinavian architecture, icy elements, and charming village details. For Luinnaris, I started with a core idea and let it evolve, creating everything from intricate "various buildings" to serene spots with "cherry blossom trees."
Next, planning is crucial. Even if it's just a rough sketch, mapping out your main structures helps immensely. Where will your "grand castle" stand? Will there be a bustling market, or quaint shops like my "Dulicis Delightful Palatium Pastry and Bakery shop"? Think about the flow of your kingdom, how different areas connect, and what purpose each building serves. This adds realism and makes your world feel alive. Don't be afraid to experiment with different block palettes to define distinct districts or themes within your kingdom.
Details truly make the difference. It's not just the big structures; it's the small touches that bring a kingdom to life. Imagine the vibrant details of a "blue-roofed castle" against a green landscape, or the intricate design of a bakery entrance. Adding custom trees, pathways, streetlights, and even tiny interior decorations can transform a mere collection of buildings into a lived-in world. Don't forget landscaping! Terracing, custom rivers, and natural-looking mountains can greatly enhance the overall aesthetic, especially if you want a diverse landscape like the one seen from the port side of Luinnaris.
Finally, don't underestimate the power of lore. As I mentioned, I'm constantly developing stories and characters for Luinnaris. Giving your kingdom a history, its own inhabitants, and even small narratives connected to specific locations makes it infinitely more engaging. This is where your creativity truly shines beyond just building. And for me, transforming these builds into "digital paintings" is another layer of storytelling, capturing the essence of my Minecraft world in a different artistic medium. So, whether you're building your own Arendelle or a totally unique kingdom, remember that every block tells a piece of your story!
