How to Be Effective for the Kingdom of God
How can you be effective for the Kingdom of God if you’re always distracted?
We already know that life, social media, work, friends, etc. are distractions. But what about the more subtle culprits likes insecurity and comparison?
Once we take our eyes off of God, we start focusing on what other are doing. This can cause us to give up hope.
I've found that when I'm looking at what everyone else is doing, I start feeling insecure and questioning God's ability to work in my life.
I start asking questions like, "Can God really use me?" "Did God really call me?" "Is anyone listening to what I am saying?" It became all about ME. I became insanely insecure.
I spent hours sulking over comparisons, too. I never felt good enough, pretty enough, or creative enough.
This type of doubt and insecurity can cause you to quit…and that’s exactly what the enemy wants.
You could be on the verge of making a strong impact for God. Then, BAM....you quit. This is not God's will. God did not create you to compete, compare, and feel insecure. He created you to win souls for His Kingdom.
1. Rebuke insecurities and comparisons in the name of Jesus.
3. Cast down any thoughts contrary to the Word of God.
4. Do not entertain anything or anyone who makes you feel unworthy of being a Follower of Christ.
5. Proceed to do whatever it is that God told you to do. He’s faithful to help you.
