... Read moreTeaching these 12 rules to daughters can profoundly impact how they view relationships and their self-worth. From my personal experience, instilling the principle that respect is non-negotiable has been a game changer—not just in romantic relationships but in friendships and family dynamics as well. I realized that when my daughter understood that she should never tolerate disrespect, she developed stronger boundaries and self-confidence. Another crucial lesson I emphasize is the difference between attention and affection. Many young people mistake attention—like flashy gestures or excessive texting—for genuine care, but true affection comes from consistent, thoughtful actions. This distinction helps avoid confusion and emotional turmoil. I’ve also seen the importance of teaching emotional maturity over financial status. A partner's ability to communicate calmly and handle stress without anger affects the health of the relationship more than money ever could. Watching my daughter recognize these traits in people around her has been both enlightening and reassuring. Lastly, sharing these insights encourages open dialogue and awareness of red flags such as controlling behavior or belittling dreams. Encouraging daughters to walk away from chaos and seek peaceful, supportive partnerships truly helps them lead happier, healthier lives. This guidance can serve as a lifelong foundation for making wise choices in love and beyond.

good advice but consider watch how he treats his mom and first date, offer to pay for your own meal and first and foremost depend on your family and yourself first, a relationship requires work and communication between both parties.. always have an account that you can lean on in case the relationship isn't working and you need to move on
