One marigold = hundreds of seeds 🥰

2025/7/11 Edited to

... Read moreMarigolds are not only vibrant and lovely flowers but also incredibly resourceful plants. Each marigold bloom can produce hundreds of seeds, making them a gardener's favorite for easy propagation. To ensure a continuous supply of these colorful flowers, it's essential to understand how to collect and store their seeds effectively. Once marigolds begin to wilt, it’s the perfect time to harvest their seeds. Just yank the flower off, and you will find a bounty of fresh seeds. These can be dried and stored for planting in the following year. This practice not only saves money but also extends the life of your garden, as you can plant countless new marigolds from the seeds you've gathered. Moreover, growing marigolds from their seeds helps to maintain soil health, and they can serve as a natural pest deterrent in your garden. Their vibrant colors attract beneficial insects like pollinators, enhancing your garden ecosystem. Consider pairing marigolds with your other favorite plants; they are not just beautiful but also supportive companions in the garden. By following simple planting guidelines and nurturing your marigold plants, you will find that you can create a stunning display year after year, all starting from just one flower. Happy gardening!
