🌸 I used to jump out of bed and just get ready for work and leave. But I realized how burnt out I started feeling and how I always felt like I never had time in the mornings.

🌸 So this morning I decided to switch it up a bit so I can have a better morning and day and I can truthfully say I feel so much better. This morning I woke up at 5:30 am which gives me almost 2 hours before work.

🌸 I read my bible, prayed, relaxed and had peppermint tea while my puppy ate, brushed my teeth, took my vitamins and did skin care.

💗💗A better morning really makes a better day! 💗💗

But by intentionally carving out time before the day officially begins, I've discovered a profound sense of calm and productivity that lasts much longer. It's not just about waking up early; it's about what you do with that time. For instance, beginning my day with spiritual reflection, like reading passages from my King James Version Holy Bible, grounds me. It's a quiet moment to set intentions and find peace before the demands of work kick in. This personal time, even just 15-20 minutes, can dramatically shift your mindset from reactive to proactive. Hydration is another key. Instead of reaching straight for coffee, I love starting with a warm cup of peppermint tea. It's soothing, aids digestion, and gives me a gentle boost without the jitters. It’s a small ritual that feels incredibly nurturing. And while I'm sipping my tea, I often take a moment to plan my day or simply enjoy the quiet. Another non-negotiable for me is taking my vitamins. Keeping them organized in a pill organizer makes it so easy to remember and ensures consistency. It’s a simple act of self-care that reminds me I’m nourishing my body from the inside out. Don't underestimate the power of these small, consistent health habits! And of course, skincare! It’s not just about looking good; it's about feeling good. Applying something like a hyaluronic acid serum isn't just a beauty step; it's a mindful moment. Massaging in products, taking a few deep breaths – it transforms a mundane task into a mini-spa experience. It’s a quiet moment of attention to myself before I give my energy to others. If you're thinking of starting your own routine, here are a few tips: Start Small: Don't try to overhaul everything at once. Pick one or two things you want to incorporate, like waking up 15 minutes earlier to read or meditate, and build from there. Be Consistent: Try to stick to your chosen time even on weekends. Consistency is key to making it a habit. Listen to Your Body: Some days you might need more sleep. Be flexible. The goal is to feel better, not to add more stress. Personalize It: Your routine doesn't have to look like anyone else's. What brings you joy and peace? Is it journaling, a quick workout, listening to a podcast, or simply enjoying a quiet breakfast? Prepare the Night Before: Lay out clothes, pack your lunch, set up your coffee maker. Removing morning decisions frees up mental space. Creating a purposeful morning routine has truly helped me combat that 'burnt out' feeling. It's a daily investment in my well-being, and I genuinely believe it can do the same for you. Give yourself the gift of a calm, intentional start to your day!
