Read more「石見銀山って何があるの？」「どう楽しめばいい？」と迷ったら、私は“まち歩き＋食べ歩き＋お土産”の流れがいちばん満足度高かったです。島根の銀山＝坑道！というイメージが強いけど、実際は町並みの空気感が主役で、歩くだけで旅してる気分になれました。 まず、石見銀山観光は歩きやすい靴が必須。石畳や坂が多くて、写真を撮りながらゆっくり歩くと意外と距離があります。私は「石見銀山まち歩き」を前提に、滞在時間は最低でも2〜3時間は確保しました。カフェで休憩しながら回ると、疲れにくいし楽しさも続きます。 食の楽しみ方なら、雰囲気のいいお店で“甘味＋軽食”を挟むのがおすすめ。食事と甘味が種類豊富なお店があるので、先にランチをがっつり…より、ちょこちょこ寄り道するほうが銀山らしい楽しみ方だと思いました。期間限定営業のお店もあるので、行く前に営業日チェックはマストです。 お土産探しは「石見銀山お土産といえばココ」系のお店を1軒入れるだけでかなり捗ります。私は定番をまず押さえてから、セレクトショップで“山陰のあれこれ”を追加で買う流れにしました。センスの良い雑貨や食品が揃っていて、自分用にもつい買い足しがち。 写真目的の人は、メイン通りだけじゃなく少し脇道に入るのがコツ。人が少ない瞬間に撮れるし、古い建物や看板、木の質感がすごく絵になります。晴れの日はもちろん、曇りの日も落ち着いた色味で石見銀山らしい写真が撮れました。 最後にアクセス感覚。出雲大社や松江方面から日帰りも可能だけど、寄り道が多くなる場所なので、時間は余裕を持つのが正解でした。石見銀山旅行を「急ぎ足の観光」にしないほうが、この町の良さがちゃんと味わえると思います。
