Not very mindful, not demure

People love ruining things for others🙃🙃 this is not how you act in a store, both kids and adults do this kind of stuff. Stores like Sephora (where I work) has to now get rid of this product. In the end doing stuff like this, especially when there is a tester for the product that can be sprayed, is rude.

Disrespect, whether from children or adults, can lead to product waste and frustration for employees. Retailers like Sephora often face challenges when customers mishandle items, especially testers meant for public use. Mindful shopping encourages respect for products and an understanding of shared spaces. Many beauty brands emphasize the importance of maintaining tester products, as they are crucial for customer engagement and decision-making. When testers are used improperly, it jeopardizes the shopping environment, leading to potential removal of products, impacting both sales and customer experience. Retail mindfulness can significantly enhance not only the shopping experience but also foster a community of respect among customers and staff alike.

To be fair, I also work at Sephora, and I feel like this is a SDJ manufacturing/packaging issue. This happens to bottles alllll the time that are dropped or accidentally knocked over. Also; for the people saying this stuff is thrown away, or dumped out etc- that’s not store procedure. Store policy is that these items would be MOS’d for the defect and put into proper shipping containers with other damaged or returned(used) items that go back to the warehouse when they are full🥰
