Gets a 03:10 smell good but don’t last

... Read moreOkay, so I've been seeing the Peachy Daise and Hello Daise body mists everywhere, especially after grabbing them from Target. As someone who loves a good affordable fragrance, I was super excited to try them out! I got my hands on both the PEACHY DAISE BERRY & MANDARIN FRAGRANCE BODY MIST and the HELLO DAISE RASPBERRY & MINT FRAGRANCE BODY MIST, and I have to say, first impressions were fantastic. The Peachy Daise Berry & Mandarin is such a delightful, juicy scent. It truly smells like a burst of summer fruits with a lovely, soft floral undertone. It's bright, sweet, and incredibly uplifting – perfect for a quick spritz to instantly boost your mood. Then there's the Hello Daise Raspberry & Mint, which is surprisingly refreshing! The raspberry is sweet but not cloying, and the mint adds this crisp, cool twist that makes it feel really unique and invigorating. Both scents are genuinely lovely and get compliments right after application. However, here's where my experience took a bit of a turn, and honestly, it's the biggest drawback for me. As much as I adore the initial smell, neither the Peachy Daise nor the Hello Daise body mist lasts very long on my skin. I'm talking maybe an hour, hour and a half at best, before I can barely detect it anymore. I've tried spraying it on my clothes, in my hair, on my pulse points – all the usual tricks to make a fragrance linger – but the longevity just isn't there. It's a real shame because the scents are so good, but it feels like you have to reapply constantly throughout the day to keep it noticeable. If you're like me and want your fragrance to stick around for more than a couple of hours, here are a few tips that might help, even with these lighter body mists: Moisturize First: Always apply your body mist to well-hydrated skin. Fragrance clings better to moisturized skin, so use an unscented lotion or a matching scented one if you have it. Layering is Key: If you can find a body wash or lotion with similar scent notes, use them before your mist. This builds a scent foundation. Spray on Pulse Points: Areas like your wrists, neck, and behind your ears emit heat, which helps to diffuse the fragrance throughout the day. Don't Forget Your Clothes & Hair: A light mist on your clothing or a quick spritz in your hair can help the scent last longer, as fabric and hair hold fragrance differently than skin. Despite the longevity issue, I wouldn't say these are a complete write-off. They're fantastic for a quick refresh, especially after a workout or when you just want a light, non-overpowering scent for a short outing. They're also quite affordable, making them great for experimenting with different scent profiles without a huge commitment. For daily wear where you need something to last, though, you might find yourself reaching for something with a higher fragrance concentration. If you're looking for other affordable body mists from places like Target that tend to have a bit more staying power, I’ve had better luck with brands like Native or some of the Pacifica body mists. They often offer unique, natural-inspired scents and sometimes have matching lotions to help with layering. Ultimately, while the Peachy Daise and Hello Daise body mists smell divine, just be prepared for frequent reapplication if you want to enjoy their lovely aromas all day long!

I think the fragrance will last longer if you mix it with any unscented lotion. It works with me most of the time 😊
