Normal Aesthetic

... Read moreThe Normal Aesthetic trend is gaining traction as more individuals seek to celebrate authenticity in the everyday. This movement contrasts sharply with the highly edited lifestyles often seen on social media. Many are questioning societal standards, such as the expectation of picture-perfect kitchens, often opting for comfort and personal touches instead. Especially for Stay-at-Home Moms (SAHMs), this shift allows for a more relatable and genuine representation of home life. The rise of hashtags like #simpleliving and #normalhouse underscores this evolving mindset. These online communities encourage sharing unfiltered glimpses into domestic spaces, challenging norms that suggest one must adhere to a specific aesthetic to be considered 'normal'. Such platforms function as a supportive network—where sharing experiences and discussing relatable challenges becomes paramount. In embracing this trend, individuals are finding empowerment in their choices, be it opting for vibrant colored walls instead of the obligatory white or showcasing lived-in spaces that tell a story. Ultimately, the Normal Aesthetic celebrates not just the beauty of imperfection but also the strength in vulnerability, fostering deeper connections among individuals who resonate with this narrative.

Tbh that vintagey colors making a come back. White cabinets are insanely hard to keep clean 😭. I’d switch up the light to a black one and switch out the cabinet handles for a quick change if you really wanted to spruce it up a bit. I get sick of mine so fast😂
