I just got my special edition of Emily Rath’s BEAUTIFUL THINGS and had to show it off 💅🏼. I’ve never bought a special edition of anything before and I love that Kensington is giving the special edition treatment to a historical. Check out the gorgeous cover, the sprayed edges, and the stepbacks.

This special edition is also an interesting contribution to the cover debate happening right now in historical. The cover is closer to an object cover, but still incorporates the rom com, illustrated elements in the stepbacks. I am really curious to see what they do with the stepbacks to the second volume (which has 10x more sex scenes lol). #historicalromance #regencyromance #specialeditionbooks
