thrifted vs styled ✨

wearing is simply just putting on clothing without any adjustments, but styling is making it yours & adding to it in a way that makes you feel more confident!

this slip i found at one of my local thrift stores in town for super cheap. i think it’s actually a midi skirt but i wanted to experiment with wearing it as a mini dress instead! as you can probably tell, it’s not the most flattering as is!

to fix the slightly unflattering shape the dress was giving, i added a belt to cinch in the waist & adjust the length! this belt is vintage from fossil!

to make things more colorful, i added one of my thrifted scarves. i’ve been loving the head scarf look for spring & summer!

i accessorized with a pretty vintage beaded bag & a little vintage bracelet.

i paired my lucky brand boots with this look to tie in with the tan leather belt.
