Milestones Don’t Wait!
Same workplace.
Same routine.
Same view every single shift.
But the baby on my phone screen?
She’s not the same baby anymore.
Every time I video call her,
she looks a little bigger…
a little more grown.
𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝—𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭.
We work hard because we love our children.
Because we all want to provide.
Because responsibilities are real.
But, I’ve been asking myself a different question.
𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐟 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬?
That’s why I quietly started building something on the side.
A 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐁.
A digital business that I can grow step by step,
without quitting my job,
without risking my family’s stability.
Not overnight success.
Not instant results.
Just a mother preparing options
for the future she hopes to have.
Still working.
Still providing.
Because sometimes,
the wisest thing we can do as parents
is to create options for tomorrow
while managing today.

Technology, like video calls, has made it easier to stay connected with loved ones even if daily routines keep us physically distant. However, this digital connection still can’t replace the precious moments lost during long shifts away from family. This motivates many parents to find creative solutions to bridge that gap, such as flexible work hours or side hustles that can eventually transition into full-time ventures. Ultimately, combining dedication to work with the commitment to being present with your child isn’t easy, but it’s achievable through planning and resilience. Prioritizing small steps toward independence and financial options creates hope for a balanced, fulfilling future—not just for ourselves but for our children too.
